Centre Interligne inc :

Montreal 2S.L.G.B.T.Q.I.A+ Community Centre :

The go-to resource for all of your 2S.L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+ needs in Montreal. They host events in both English and French.

Fondation Émergence :

Fondation Émergence is a non-profit organization which fights against homophobia and transphobia. They offer workshops in French and wonderful programs for 2S.L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+ seniors and caregivers.

Centre for Gender Advocacy :

An independent, student-funded, Concordia University organization, mandated to promoting gender equality and empowerment particularly as it relates to marginalized communities. They offer active listening services, trans advocacy, missing justice for MMIW and other projects.

 

Lesbian Resources

Centre de Solidarité Lesbienne :

French language group for lesbians providing services, information and events promoting lesbian’s health, safety and well being. Located in the plateau.

Québec Lesbian Network :

Inclusive network for 2S.L.G.B.T.Q.I.A+ women in Quebec. They do fantastic activism work promoting lesbian issues in Quebec.

2 Spirit Resources

2SIM (Two-Spirits In Motion) :

Nation-wide organization for 2 Spirit people that hosts national forums for the 2 Spirit community.

 

Older Adults Resources

NDG Senior Citizen’s Council :

Nonprofit community organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of low-income adults (50+) by encouraging mutual aid and civic engagement.

New Hope Senior Citizens’ Centre :

Charitable organization which provides a friendly, welcoming environment for members of the community aged 65 years and over. It offers assistance through a variety of social, recreational and educational activities, programs and services enabling seniors to break isolation and remain active participants in community life.

engAGE Living Lab Digital Era Response (ELLDER) :

A part of Concordia’s Centre for Research on Aging, ELLDER ignites synergies for health and well-being by welcoming intergenerational interactions online and focusing on the expressive creative knowledge of older adults.

The Yellow Door :

Organization aimed at empowering older adults and young people to initiate and engage in community and creative projects that promote social inclusion, combat urban isolation across all generations, and spark positive societal change.

Action Centre-Ville :

French language social and service group for adults over 50 years old. They offer health, arts and informational activities as well as meal delivery and other services.
